I ordered this new from Amazon, but was sent an obviously “used” and repackaged one. . . This is disappointing. I hope it isnt a defective product!!!

This is the best rice cooker I have ever had. I have struggled with making ‘good’ brown rice for quite some time and really wanted to make the switch to healthier eating. This rice cooker makes the best brown rice I have ever had. My husband agrees. I got a great cookbook through Amazon (The Ultimate Rice Cooker Cookbook), that offers so many more options for using the cooker, but if all I ever did was make brown rice in this cooker, it’s been worth the cost. You won’t be disappointed with this buy:)

We have had a one-button rice cooker for about 15 years and it was recently dropped by movers and the lid broke off. We were sad, but began the search for a new rice cooker. Now I am glad the movers broke that old piece of crap.
This rice cooker is AMAZING! We never have that burnt crust of rice from the bottom of the pan anymore. The rice stays fresh much longer than in the old one, and it also cooks things like steel cut oats, farina, veggies, cake. . .
