this is the best type of cooker for sticky (short grain) rice. easy to use – can’t fail.

I should probably wait a while to review this as it is fairly new to our home. Incidentally, that is the only reason it doesn’t get a full 5 stars (as who knows how it will hold up in the future). However, so far it has done a bang-up job, is easy to clean, etc.
We had a similar one for a few years that we got rid of in a move. The only problems with that one were that the little water receptacle thingy broke and we had to use a big elastic band to keep it on. Also, we were gentle with the cleaning, but the pot still lost it’s nonstick dealio, so we would have had to replace that.

Seems to work very nicely. Have not used it much but when I do it works as advertised. I love the retractable cord- U. S. manufacturers take note!
